from
the band: Tishamingo is excited to announce that they have been invited to join Leeway’s Home Grown Music Network. The Home Grown Music Network (HGMN) is a network of independent bands working together to promote themselves to national success. The Network was formed in early 1995 by Lee Crumpton, and HGMN members are continuing to be the talk of the independent music scene. Through this cooperative effort all of the member bands are gaining much needed national exposure plus the potential to drastically increase profit. Look for Tishamingo in the upcoming Home Grown Music Network Catalog, which now exceeds 200,000 copies distributed annually. These catalogs can be found at Home Grown Music venues and at the HGMN booth at many national music festivals. Also, check out Home Grown’s website at www.homegrownmusic.net. Tishamingo has joined a roster of great bands including Acoustic Syndicate, The Big Wu, Disco Biscuits, Jupiter Coyote, Sound Tribe Sector Nine, Umphrey’s McGee, Yamagata, Yonder Mountain String Band, and many, many others. This new relationship will gain exposure for Tishamingo throughout the nation, and the fellas in the band are looking forward to playing shows with some of their fellow Network bands. Tishamingo signs distribution deal with Home Grown Distribution! Tishamingo
is pleased to announce that they have signed a distribution deal with
Home Grown Distribution. With this deal, Home Grown Distribution will
exclusively handle the distribution of Tishamingo’s debut album
– “Tishamingo” nationally and internationally. They
have already sold copies in Japan! This is a huge step in the process
of getting Tishamingo’s music in the hands of people beyond those
with whom they have direct contact (i.e. live shows), and the band is
very excited about the opportunities that this distribution deal presents
for them. Other bands that are distributed by Home Grown Distribution
include the Grateful Dead, The String Cheese Incident, Phish,
Medeski, Martin, & Wood, Karl Denson, and Widespread Panic.
So look for Tishamingo’s debut album in your local music stores!
